If you have or know anyone who has skills they would like to share with the children in an after school club then please contact school. We would particularly like volunteers to run an ICT / Journalism club to help the children make a termly school newspaper. Terrington Does Apprentice! During this term I have set KS2 a fund raising challenge! Each KS2 child will be given a £5 note and will have four weeks to make it grow. They can do this in anyway they like. At the end of the four weeks children will return their profits to school with a written description of what they did to raise the money. The child with the winning amount will win a prize and play a part in planning to spend all the profits on playground equipment with the school council. Each child will bring home their £5 on Wednesday, 9th June and will have until Monday, 12th July to make their money grow. I hope you all have fun assisting your child in this challenge! Parents Evening There will be opportunity for Parents teacher appointments to discuss reports during the last week of term if you feel there are any concerns or areas you would like to discuss. COMMUNITY NEWS We are very much looking forward to joining the village for the village Sports Day on the 27th June at 2pm. Please bring along as many friends as you can to make it a busy and fun event for all. MONEY As with last half term, could you please ensure money is brought into school in a sealed envelope labelled with your childs name, amount and what it is for? Mrs Sarah Moore - Headteacher 'The outstanding relationships which exist throughout the school community stem from the Christian values that underpin the school. A loving family atmosphere can be observed in the way in which older pupils show genuine care and concern for younger ones. Standards of behaviour are extremely high and treating others with respect is at the heart of this school's work... ' (National Society Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools Report- November 2008)
